Factors that influence the rate of chemical reactions

The main factors that influence the rate of chemical reactions are:

1)   The nature of the reactants

2)  The concentration

3)   The temperature

4)   Radiation in general, as long as it is absorbed by at least one of the reactants.

5)   The pressure as long as at least one of the reactants is gas and under the condition that the change of pressure is due to the change of volume.

6)   The catalysts

7)  The partition grade (which is the contact surface) of the solid reactant.
